Together Insomniac & Backbone International produce EDC Vegas, the world’s largest electronic music festival with over 350,000 visitors. During the weekend of the event, Camp EDC becomes home to thousands of patrons of the festival.
Camp EDC seeks to provide an unparalleled camping experience with pool parties, assorted carnival rides, and a festival pre-party for 22,000 attendees. Backbone International & Insomniac asked Draww to draft and design the entirety of the Camp EDC footprint. This included the various activations mentioned above, along with over 4,800 camping spaces.
To draft and design a footprint of this type and caliber, it was critical that we had a design that was as accurate as possible. Draww used on-site GPS surveying technology to create a topographical drawing of the venue space. We worked with the client to identify opportunities to emphasize the character of each space in order to maximize the experience for attendees.
